Blowing on the cactus, or using compressed air, can clean most cacti well. In the more stubborn areas around the crown, try using a soft brush. A paintbrush will work very well.

Rebutia arenacea arrived all covered in soil/dirt. This only can be removed by water, but instruction says do not water during winter. Please advice how to clean the cactus?
