My gasteria mini rainbow lost its pink
Gasteria 'Mini Rainbow'
I purchased it from Mountain Crest several months ago. It doesn't seem to be growing anymore and has lost it's pink. It looks fine otherwise. It lives inside under a grow light. Is a grow light too much light for it? Should I be doing anything different for it to regain the pink and grow again? Is it dormant?

Gasteria are naturally slow growers, particularly in the summer. In the late fall and winter you should see it start to pick up a bit. Variegated Gasteria like Gasteria 'Mini Rainbow' can sometimes revert to be just green. Often times, the issue isn't too much light but not enough of it. This is especially an issue for Gasteria because they can tolerate low light conditions and still grow well. However, low light conditions can cause them to lose their variegation. Try moving your plant closer to the light and keeping it on for 12-14 hours per day.
