Albuca spiralis 'Frizzle Sizzle'® [dormant]
I have a frizzle sizzle and all the leaves turned brown as winter began. Is it dying or is it going dormant? I thought the dormant season was summer.

Yes, this plant normally goes dormant in the summer. However, indoor plants (especially those under grow lights) can potentially go dormant at unusual times. Allowing the leaves to totally dry and reducing water will give it a needed rest. Just be sure that the caudex is still nice and firm. If it's not, there may be a problem that's causing the leaves to turn brown.
