Mine has turned almost completely white. I had it under a grow light. Was it too much light?

Actually, pale colors are a sign of too little light. Try moving the grow light closer to the plant or, even better, moving the plant outside into the sun. Be sure to introduce it to sunlight gradually. Moving it from inside, to partial sun, to full sun over the course of a week or so. That will help prevent sunburn.
