Haworthia reinwardtii, are they prone to brown tips or is that a natural color

Haworthia reinwardtii does develop brown tips in bright sunlight. Some varieties do this to a greater degree to others. It's harmless to the plant itself, and is only a response to getting a lot of sun.
If you would rather it didn't get brown tips, you could move it to a shadier area but I believe you're plant is behaving normally.
