My peperomia has had its leaves closed is this a bad sign? How do I get it to open up again?

The closing of the leaves is a response to either drought or lots of light. It's not a sign of poor health but just a strategy the plant employs to deal with stress. To get it to open up again, try reducing the amount of light it's getting or water it a little more.
