My Mangave bad hair day bloomed over 2 years ago over 7 ft tall and still has the bloom stalk and is thriving? Why?

Why hasn’t mine produced pups or died off? The stalk almost looks as if will bloom again? The plant is at least 4 years old. Thank you!

Agave (which is one of the parents of your Mangave) tend to be slow growers. They take a long time to do anything and that includes dying after blooming. More light may accelerate this process and help the plant produce pups.
