I am a teenage boy and am curious about how long my Moon Silver succulent will live for. It's about 2-3 years old so how will it do in a basement room with a south facing window?

With proper care, these plants can live nearly indefinitely. A south facing window will work very well for this plant, just be sure it's not obstructed by anything. Basement windows are so often shaded by trees and other buildings that it's important to make sure this isn't the case with yours.
