My xxxx plant showed black spots then died. What caused this? Trichocereus bridgesii - Penis Cactus [bare root] [limited]

The plant grew black spots. Wishing a week i knew it was rotting from the inside. It died as there wasn’t any saving it. So disappointed.

Sorry to hear that! Rot is most often associated with overwatering and/or overly rich soil. Too little light can also make them stay moist for too long. Cacti like this need very Gritty Soil and very infrequent watering.
