Is November too late to plant hardy succulents (i.e.Dunce Cap) outside in zone 6? Winter inside till spring?

Succulents need to be planted at least one month before the first expected frost date to acclimate and establish roots. Otherwise they can be kept indoors with bright sun and planted in spring after the last frost.
