The first 2 pictures don't show any variegation. Does that only come out in certain conditions?

The variegation becomes stronger in brighter sunlight. We just recently put up some shade cloth in the greenhouses, which helped our Sedum grow, but dulled some of the colors. Once exposed to bright sunlight again, the color will return. However, you should expose your plant to full sun conditions gradually, to prevent sunburn.
