It's worth noting that grafted moon cactus is actually two different cacti grafted together. The actual moon cactus is the pink part, while the green part is a species of Hylocereus. The two plants are grafted together because the pink cactus can't survive on its own. It's not 'green' enough to do its own photosynthesis anymore. Instead, the Hylocereus supports both itself and the pink moon cactus.
All of that is to say that no, the offsets from the pink moon cactus won't survive on their own, unless you graft them onto another green cactus.
