That's a reaction to being in a dark shipping box. Gradually giving the plant more outdoor sun will return the normal rosette shape.

When he gold nugget arrived. It is mainly red with yellow tips. All but 7 of the leaves are pointing down. It’s like the leaves are trying to grown around a pot.
