A pale yellow color is often because of rot due to over watering or soil that holds on to water for too long. Leaves that develop this color should be removed and discarded. However, be sure to check your stem for rot as well. If the stem is squishy or wet then you have a problem. You can read more about yellowing in succulents by clicking on the link below.
