Hello. Tillandsia ionantha is red, healthy - but bottom leaves are splaying down, growing thru top- Why? Air Plant - Tillandsia ionantha (lilac, enhanced) [2.0-3.0"] Indoor Succulents

I live in Florida.My tillandsia ionantha is a bright red and look lovely. However, in the last week the bottom leaves are splaying out and downward, while new leaves are still growing out the top. Is this normal, or is it getting too dry or hot?

That sounds like normal growth. As long as nothing looks translucent or feels overly soft, you should have nothing to worry about.
