Is carpet sedum something I could use to replace grass? It's very soft and pleasant, but can it be walked on?

This species can only tolerate light, occasional foot traffic. We can't think of any Sedum that won't look a bit rough with regular to heavy foot traffic, but the small, matting types like Sedum album tend to be the best options for lawn replacements.
