We don't tend to put any specific estimates on growing speed, because that depends too much on how they're cared for. What we can tell you is that Gasteria plants, in general, are slow growers. Spiral cactus, meanwhile, are faster growers than many other cacti.
Many Gasteria do slow down their growth in the winter, even inside, but others will keep growing through the winter if kept inside. It's more reliable to look for signs of thirst, like flaccid or wrinkly leaves, than to keep track of dormancy for indoor plants.
