My Graptosedum California Sunset is growing on a long stem should i cut it back?

I'm not sure how to care for it..... its growing tall and im not sure if thats what it should be doing or if i need to decapitate it

It's likely that your plant is stretching due to a lack of light. An unobstructed south facing window is best. Otherwise, you may want to use a grow light.
Regardless, more light is needed before you can cut it back. Otherwise, it may not have enough energy to recover.
