In the summer, this plant will come to you with leaves, but the tips of those leaves may be brown as a result of the dormancy. When you receive it, allowing it to go fully dormant by not watering it at all, for a couple months, will ensure that it sprouts new, fully green leaves in the fall. However, it's important to note that the old leaves will wither in that process.
