What size pots are best for sempervinum?

I’m just starting with them. Online what you see are large full pots or decorative ones with no room fo pups.

These Sempervivum are shipped in their 2", square, plastic grow pots. Upon arrival, you could transplant an individual plant into a pot about 3"-5" in diameter, but you can also plant multiple Sempervivum into a single, larger container, or directly into the ground outside.
