Frizzle Sizzle needs lots of sunshine and very infrequent water to maintain its curly leaves. You can let the plant go dormant in the summer by withholding all water. The straight leaves will dry and fall off, and when the plant emerges from dormancy in the fall as you resume watering, the newly sprouted leaves will be curly.
