Chick Charms ‘Lotus Blossom,’ a type of Sempervivum, is best propagated by separating the small offsets (or “chicks”) that grow around the main rosette. Once these offsets develop roots, they can be gently removed and replanted in well-draining succulent soil, where they will establish themselves and maintain the unique Lotus Blossom form. While the plant can produce seeds after flowering, they often do not grow true to type, so offsets are the most reliable method. To ensure success, provide shallow containers or well-drained outdoor spots, avoid overwatering, and take advantage of their natural cold hardiness.
