Likely yes, but retaining walls do require mindful noticing in order to get the soil and water conditions right for succulents to root. You will need to water them a little more frequently for the first month or so while they're rooting. Growing succulents in retaining walls can involve a little trial and error at first, but once you find the right conditions, it's some of the best low-maintenance succulent growing!
