Yes, if gradually acclimated and given adequate soil and water, frost hardy succulents like Sempervivum (Hens & Chicks), Delosperma, and hardy Sedum (Stonecrops) can tolerate full sun all day in zone 7. Vertical walls present an extra challenge to young succulents trying to root, especially in hot, dry, sunny conditions. Some people have luck watering more frequently at first while the plants are rooting, or using movable wall containers that can be horizontal while the plants are rooting then installed vertically once they're established.
