Monstera deliciosa needs a well draining soil and a pot with drainage holes. It prefers even and consistent moisture, without being water logged. Allow the first two inches of soil to dry between waterings.
Be sure it gets around six hours of indirect sunlight. Try an east facing window or a south facing window with a thin curtain. You could also use a grow light.
