My weather is zone 10, very hot. It can still be over 105° at 4:00p.m. it's also very dry. Pet safe sedums?

Ground Cover Succulents
I have a patch of sandy soil that I would like ground cover for. There are stray cats that come into the yard, so it needs to be pet safe. We've had heat waves over 105-108° always. The area receives full sun for almost the entire day. What would you recommend?

Nearly any Sedum can do well there. All Sedum are pet safe and handle sunlight well (though there are a couple that are more sensitive to light). Just stay away from Sedum makinoi and Sedum japonicum varieties as they're more sensitive than other Sedum.
