This plant comes rooted in a 2" square pot (same pot as in the photos) and blooms in midsummer.
Spacing is a matter of personal preference, depending on how long you're willing to wait for your planting area to fill in. But with proper care, Sedum like this can spread about 1" per month in the growing season. Most people use anywhere from 4"-12" spacing when planting ground cover Sedum.
