We recommend one Lithops per pot as Lithops can be challenging to grow. They require water or absolutely no water at different points in their seasonal growth cycle. For example, a growing Lithops might need water when another is blooming or splitting and should not be watered. Dealing with conflicting water needs can be challenging. But some experienced growers have a pot of multiples that are all on the same annual growth cycle so they can sync up their water needs.
