Sorry for the confusion. Ample as in sufficient. Green varieties with leaf windows like Peperomia columella can tolerate lower light better than other succulents, but they'll also adapt and thrive in sun. So if you're growing it indoors, you'll want it at least in a room with a sunny window. If it's outdoors (when there's no risk of frost), at least partial sun or dappled light is sufficient in most climates.
