What is meant by "great choice for green roof and wall projects". Will this do well in a raised rock garden?

The raised rock garden soil is droughty sand that is currently held down by creeping phlox. I've had the phlox for 30 years and am wanting to replace it with this multi-colored sedum. The side of the rock garden where the sedum will be planted faces east but is in full sun most of the day. Our zone is 4-5.

This Sedum is a great choice for a raised rock garden, particularly one with a sandy soil. We've grown Sedum album here in similar conditions and found ourselves having to prune it back every year to give other plants a chance.
