You can. The big thing with growing this plant indoors is light. You want to provide as much light as possible. Try an unobstructed south facing window. If you don't have that, you'll have to resort to grow lights, which you can read about by clicking the link below.
Be sure it has a gritty, well draining soil and water it deeply but infrequently. Let the sides of the plant develop small wrinkles before watering.
