Can this handle full direct outdoor sun in Austin, TX?

All of my potted succulents on the section of my porch that receives full direct sunlight in 90-100+ temps die quickly or get sunburned. Will this survive those conditions?

It's possible that, if properly acclimated to those conditions, Sedum nussbaumerianum would survive. However, afternoon shade when it gets very hot would be ideal. For very sunny and hot conditions, you may want to stick to Agave and cacti.
