how deep do you plant this bare root cacti's?
Cereus forbesii 'Spiralis' - Spiral Cactus [bare root] [extra large]
Received today with no instructions on how to plant it.

You'll want to plant it just deep enough for it to be stable standing upright. Many of these have a brownish portion at the base where the bottom of the stem was buried. Aim to plant it at the same soil line. Sometimes supports can help keep it stable until it can establish more roots in its new soil.
Also, be sure to use a pot with a drainage hole and a very gritty, well-draining soil.
