Would this variety of kalanchoe be big enough to put in a 12" pot?

It'll come to you in a 2" pot. Upgrading to a 12" pot right away would run the risk overwatering. It certainly wouldn't be impossible but you would just have to be careful with your watering. Eventually though, this plant could thrive in a 12" pot.
