If you just mean you want to re-root and grow it, plant it in gritty, well-draining soil and place it in full sun. Water deeply but very infrequently (only after the soil is bone dry and the stem feels slightly deflated).
Boobie cactus can be propagated by cuttings, but only after it has branched. Just cut the branch with a clean knife and allow the cutting to dry for a week before planting. Pot it in a well draining soil, give it plenty of light and water a bit more frequently while the cutting is rooting. Please note, this is a slow process, not only to root a cutting but to even get a Boobie Cactus to branch.
