Will any Mangave plant survive 120 degree summer months
Mangave 'Pineapple Punch' [plug]
We have a raised retaining wall, flower bed and it mostly gets sun. It gets some morning shade and evening shade but during the summer it can get up to 8 hours of direct sun in 120 degree summers.

Those conditions would be tough on many plants and Mangave are no exception. You may want to focus more on Agave and cactus, unless you're willing to put up some kind of shade cloth in the hottest parts of the year.
