They're certainly deer resistant, but a desperate deer will try to eat a lot of unusual plants and even a satisfied deer will try anything once. In short, we can't promise that deer won't try and eat it, but we can promise that if they try to eat it, they'll regret it.
However, it's doubtful that a deer will eat enough of this plant to cause any serious poisoning.
