It sounds like your Aloe could use some more light. A lack of light can cause an Aloe (or really any succulent) to fade to green. Overwatering can also cause a fade to green so a combination of more light and less water will bring out the best colors in your Aloe.
It's important to note that while sunlight will darken the colors, a sudden transition to full sun may cause your plant's leaves to develop a sunburn. Gradual increases in the amount of sunlight the plant receives over the course of a week or two dramatically reduces this risk.
