I would like to plant this in a very large pot. some also in a cement bird feed with drainage holes, will it work?

The cement bird feeder should work very well! The 30" pot will be fine too but watering may be more challenging. A 30" pot will hold a lot of water within the soil and that increases the chance of root rot. It'll work fine, especially if the pot has drainage holes or you're planting many plants in it. You'll just need to be more careful about watering it is all.
