Assuming they're getting the rest of their needs cared for (like proper light, soil, water, etc.), then they'll do fine in one of these types of pots.
However, a word of caution is in order. If the planter has pots that have opposite exposures (i.e. one pot faces east while another faces west) then you may struggle to get enough light to all of the plants.
