My thumb cactus is so long, almost two feet! Do I leave it as a crawling plant or support it another way?
Mammillaria matudae - Thumb Cactus [large]
Indoor Succulents
I don’t know whether to hang this cactus so it can grow downwards or leave it crawling out of the pot. It’s doing awesome and growing another limb but it’s gotten so long! I want to make sure I’m caring for it the best way.

I'm glad your cactus is doing so well! That's awesome!
Most of the larger plants of this species we've seen in pots are not supported in any way. The cactus is simply allowed to spill out of the pot on its own accord and seems to enjoy this arrangement well enough. The plant will hang down and trail eventually.
