Yes! Adenium plants are actually very poisonous, if eaten, to people as well as animals. If you suspect that someone or your pet has eaten any of this plant, seek medical help immediately. Bring a sample of the plant (or the whole plant) to the doctor or vet.
Native tribes in Africa have traditionally this plant to poison their arrows. Arrows treated this way can kill an elephant quite quickly.
