When succulent leaves droop downward it's typically either a sign of overwatering or too little light. As long as it's getting 6+ hours of light a day it should be good on that front and it sounds like you've got a handle on the light situation.
My guess then is that you're being a little overly generous on the watering. Along with reducing the frequency of your watering, you might want too take a look at your soil. If it holds moisture for too long, it would be a good idea to add sand, gravel or pearlite to make it drain better.
Fortunately, you seem to have caught it early, seeing how the rest of the plant looks healthy.
