How to tell when clavatum needs to be watered

A good rule of thumb is to feel the soil and look at your plant's leaves. If it's very dry even an inch or so below the top of the soil, and your plant's leaves just starting to wrinkle and/or feel flexible, then it's time to water. This usually takes roughly a week to occur between waterings.
