Pink butterflies is coming in a 2-in pot. Should I put it in a 4-in pot? Shallow or average? East or south lite?

Yes! Transplanting 'Pink Butterflies' into a 4 inch pot is a good idea! Look for an average depth of 4-5 inches. The big thing with pots is drainage holes. Make sure your pot has them because they help fight root rot by allowing excess water to leave the soil.
I would put this plant in a south facing window. 'Pink Butterflies' likes bright indoor light. Variegated plants need more (and more diffuse) light than their non-variegated counterparts.
