My order arrived today (7/3/21) and I'm not sure when I should transplant to its clay pot? It appears to be in the splitting phase.

Yes, you can gently transplant it to get it into grittier soil. Transplanting can cause micro-tears in the roots that leaves them more susceptible to rot, so don't water for about 5 days after transplanting. Then, after splitting, use the firmness of the inner leaf pair to determine if your split rock needs water.
