The hardest part about transplanting string of pearls is getting the plant out of its original pot. The upper foliage is delicate and it tends to root deep into pots.
Start by giving the pot a couple firm squeezes on each side. This will help loosen the roots. Then, place a hand over the pearls and the other hand on the bottom of the pot. Turn the pot completely upside down and give it another couple of firm squeezes, making sure to keep your other hand on the pearls.
