These are zone 10 plants, however, with a few adjustments you could make them work in zone 9.
If you hang them close to a house or other heated structure, the residual heat can be enough to help them escape a light frost.
Also, if you see on the weather forecast that a cold snap is coming, cover your plants with a breathable material for the night and that can help keep the frost off of them.
Being very careful not to overwater is always a good practice for succulents, but it becomes especially important in this case. Even soft succulents like jelly bean can handle some cold if their soil is dry. Cold and moisture together are a death trap for soft plants.
