How do you overwinter a plant?

I’m in a zone 7- for a succulent. It recommended I ‘overwinter the plant’. How do I do this?

Overwintering just refers to keeping the plant alive over the course of a winter. For this particular plant, that means not letting it freeze and reducing the amount of water you're giving it to prevent rot. You'll have to bring this plant inside to overwinter it in zone 7.
