This plant is a perennial so it stays alive for many years. As far as how many years, that's hard to say. Usually, plants are killed by environmental conditions or disease far before they die of old age.
It also doesn't help that this plant can be propagated via stem cuttings. If the old plant dies, but the genetically identical cutting you made continues to live, did the old plant really die? It then becomes a philosophical question, but to keep it simple, we don't really know how old this plant can get.
